                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF
                   CONTRACT NO. S(J)-1-92, MORRISON SPRINGS
                   ROAD RELOCATION AND IMPROVEMENTS, TO MAYSE
                   CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, FOR THEIR LOW BID OF
                   FOUR HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED
                   TWENTY-ONE AND 93/100 DOLLARS ($405,121.93)
                   FOR THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA'S SHARE OF THE
                   TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED
                   TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY-
                   EIGHT AND 70/100 DOLLARS ($828,988.70).
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. S(J)-1-92, Morrison Springs Road Relocation 

       and Improvements, to Mayse Construction Company, for their low 
bid
       of $405,121.93 for the City of Chattanooga's share of the total
       contract amount of $828,988.70.
